Today for Open To Interpretation we had to pick our own photos to inspire us. I couldn't decide between these two so I just did both!

I was pretty pleased with what I ended up with. High waisted pants are seriously my favorite. The only problem is that I'm short and I don't want to hem them, so I have to wear tall shoes that are somewhat difficult to walk in. This is only a problem when I have to trek up hill in 15 mins from one side of campus to the other. It's kind of a bummer.
On another note, yesterday was flag day. I walked outside saw all of the flags, looked down at my outfit and well I think you'll see a comparison...

Whoa, those striped shoulders are super cool! And I never would have put the flag thing together but that totally made me laugh. Awesome.
Wait, that's a tank top over a shirt? What an awesome idea! I love how you combined both photos into one killer outfit.
Haha! I wouldn't have thought of flags until you said it. But I put together flag-like outfits of my own all the time, so I'm a big fan! And you look fantastic!
