Jason and I promised that we were not going to be the
couple that gained a ton of weight after we got married.
We had plans to play soccer all the time, and to
go swimming {we have a pool in our backyard...boooya!}.
However, Miami was not kind to us in the weight area,
and we have gotten into this rut of working, eating, and sleeping.
I've tried to loose weight lots of times, but I feel like no matter what I do nothing works.
That's where all of you come into play.
What do you do to stay fit, loose weight, or just be overall healthy?
I'm a carb-a-holic who needs help!

My solution? I just bought a Golds Gym pass. I figure if I KNOW I'm paying for it, I'll be more likely to use it. It's worked. I go like 3 times a week and am actually starting to ENJOY going :) Totally see a difference too!

I am totally with you on the carb-a-holic thing. Sweet snacks are totally my weekness. I'm on Weight Watchers, and it definitely works if you stick to the plan! Plus, you can still eat whatever you want, just less of it, and you have to record it. Good luck!
i've found i feel healthier if i just eat more fruits and veggies than breads and such. get outside for a few minutes or even just doing a few trunk twists or heel taps while i'm at work. i'm in the same boat as you bek; but i'm finding the posative attitude helps motivate me. plus the fruits. get raspberries, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, oranges, and apples in stead of boxces of cereal or snackie foods.
I found that having to walk everywhere here cause no one has a car in my apartment has helped. Walking to class, work, store, church has helped. Also going to the gym is easier when you have someone to go with even if you are listening to your music, just knowing someone is there helps. Drag Jason to the gym or do the P90x videos.
I'm a carb-o-holic too! I use Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred 5 days a week and I give myself one day a week to "indulge". But I rely a lot on protein shakes, fruits, and veggies.
Yoga's great too. :)
