My little sister is getting married in June and has asked me to be her matron of honor and so I've been on the hunt for the perfect dress. I almost found one last week but it was too big. I've been to the mall a couple of times but I haven't really found anything, so yesterday I turned to the interwebs.
Sorry to anyone who follows me on on Pinterest because you probably had a million purple dresses in your feed, but I think I've found a few dresses that might just work.
The first dress is from Target. I really love the shape of the dress, but I don't love how it's sleeveless. I think I could easily wear a bolero with it and it would still be ok. I don't love wearing jackets or boleros because a lot of the time (in my opinion) it covers up the shape or the accents of the dress.
Number two is from ModCloth. It's peplum. Need I say more? No, but I will. The bow. The sweetheart neckline. Now I'm done.
Dress number three is also from ModCloth. It's simple yet classic and the detail across the chest is really fun.
Finally, dress number 4 is from ModCloth. (They had a great selection!) I love the blinged out peter pan collar. Again, it's sleeveless and I think I could put a jacket over it, but I'd rather do something underneath so that I don't take away from the collar. Do you have any suggestions (this one's a little harder to make modest!)

Overall, I think #3 is my favorite, but I don't think it looks matron of honor appropriate. For a wedding, I'd go 1 or 2. I think a jacket with #1 would still look pretty. Good luck!
#3 is definitely my favorite too :)
I bet with the last one you could find a dark purple shade shirt that matched the color and no one would be able to tell. Since its a true sleeveless the end of the shoulder just looks like a seam if you get a good match.
