I'm trying out a new link-up today! I want to be more accountable and I think setting goals and reviewing them will really help me do what I say I want to! I love that this link-up also lets me reflect on my week and take into account what I've been going through. I hope you guys enjoy getting a little more insight to what is going on behind the scenes of Rebekah Anne!
What I loved about the past week: Spending time with my boys. Almost every night we go on a family walk and not only does it help me hit my step goal (anyone on Fitbit?), but I get an uninterrupted chance to talk with Jason. We also went to a pool party this weekend and Benson loved being in the water. I took some cute photos of him and Jason that I'll probably treasure forever.
What I learned the last week: It's ok to let things go, even big important things. I was really upset about an issue at work-like sick to my stomach upset-last week. I thought it over for a couple days before I decided that being mad about it wasn't going to change anything. Instead of being upset and confrontational I let it go and now it's not eating at me anymore.
Goal for the week: Prep some blog posts!! I'm going to be on vacation next week and I want things to still run smoothly over here on Rebekah Anne, so I'm hoping to get at least two posts ready for next week!
What I've been daydreaming of: Growing my blog. I have so many things I want to get started with so that I can make this little space really shine. I should probably start writing them down so that I actually accomplish them! First on this list is getting my RSS email started so that you can get my posts straight to your inbox! (Shameless plug: if you want to get in on this, sign up for emails in my sidebar!)
What I'm looking forward to: My vacation next week! I get to go home and visit with all my siblings. Introduce Benson to all of his cousins, which he will absolutely love since he's the most social baby in the world. Plus I get some much needed time off! I haven't had a "vacation" since my maternity leave, which I don't really consider a vacation.
Bonus question of the week: If you could have any super power what would it be?: I always go between two: being able to teleport or being able to slow down time. I am not a huge fan of having to actually travel so I would love to just be somewhere in an instant. But being able to slow down those amazing moments in life and really soak them in would also rock.
