Classy tape

I love the perks that come with working at a chiropractor's office. 

I've been getting adjustments all summer long and I love it. 

Another perk is our physical therapy program. 

Our primary physical therapist developed a really cool from of physical therapy that

is based on pressure points. Our office also does kinesio taping (remember this from the olympics?)

 That's what I'm sporting on my knees. I love it. I'd been having some stiff knee pains for a 

couple of weeks and I finally went over and got the physical therapists to treat me. 

I don't regret it one bit.

I've mentioned complained about my work uniform a couple of times here on the blog, 

so I figured it was time to show you what I actually was talking about!

I work at a chiropractor's office and we focus on promoting healthy lifestyles. 

Everyone wears a jacket or polo with the company logo and then yoga or sweat pants. 

Don't get me wrong, wearing yoga pants on a daily basis is great, but I definitely miss getting

to wear real clothes on a regular basis (it also makes being a fashion blogger slightly more difficult).

I'm so excited that I finally got around to updating my blog design!

I've been experimenting with different designs. I just haven't had time to 

finish it up and get it just right, but I stayed in bed all morning Saturday looking 

up HTML and CSS codes, so that I could finally change the blog. 

I should thank Kayla from Freckles in April for some awesome advice on how

 to get rid of my regular header and Kalee from Fred Rongo for her 

awesome tutorial for social media buttons. I've made a lot of social media buttons, but 

this is by far the best tutorial I've used. 

Anywho, I hope you guys like it. 

I can't get enough of it. 

On an totally separate note, I got this hat for $12 and it was a buy one get on free on

 anything clearance at Charming Charlie's and so I also got a free scarf. It felt like a steal. 

I love a good deal.

The French Twist

I don't know if you've noticed or not, but I have a new hair-do obsession.

I call it the french twist.

Because it's only two pieces of hair, but I add a little bit of hair each time.

My bangs are at the not long enough to blend but not short enough to be bangs phase,

which forces me to find creative ways to hide them from the world. 

My sister taught me how to do this cool twist when I was in Oregon, like a month ago...

(oh my goodness. my baby sister has been married for a month!)

I would say that I use this trick six out of the seven days of the week. 

Day seven?

My hair is probably in a messy bun that the world doesn't need to see.

Sunshine and Summertime

Do you have that one song that screams summer to you? 

You know, the one that is best when you're driving down a country road with the windows down, wind in your hair and blasting so loud you can't hear about anything else? 

That's kind of how this outfit makes me feel.

It's best work standing in the middle of a field, the sunshine on my back and the wind still in my hair.
