Awkward and Awesome Thursday

I keep reading awesome and awkward moments

today, and it's making me want to join in on the fun!

Awkward:

• Explaining to people that I am not the mother of a five-month-old as told here
• Playing soccer with like 20 guys who are all really good, and just staying in the back so they don't realize I'm not pro.
• My sister petting my husband {a tad in the eye, but she was excited to see us}

Awesome

• My little sister is home from Hawaii!!
• Spent two days with my brother, playing soccer and eating out in P-Town
• A large Dr. Pepper
• Watching Tom Haverford's {from Parks and Rec} look a like play on my brother's soccer team

Awkward:

• My face in that last picture, am I smiling or talking? I have no idea.
• The highlight of my day yesterday was wearing my awesome turtle necklace, then I forgot to wear it in these pictures. 
• The leaves fell yesterday, and it was beautiful and all I wanted to do was a pretty fall photoshoot, and then once I went out to take the photos, the landlord was raking them all up. sad. face.
• Trying to invite people to the Mary Kay party I'm having tomorrow {I am so awkward when I am trying to make friends}
• The number of people who stare at me like I'm a crazy person when I back into my driveway. Excuse me, but I live here, it's ok if I park here too. 

Awesome

• Jason and I decided what to be for Halloween!!!!! {Hint: the theme song can be found here}
• I might have three people at my Mary Kay party {is it sad when having three possible friends makes me jubilant?} 
• Leaves on the ground, kicking them up as I walk.
• Wearing my turtle necklace {I'll try and post a picture so you can see the awesomeness}
• Jason's classes were canelled today so we both got to sleep in together!
• Our ward's Halloween party is on Saturday and we plan on winning the costume contest. Yes, we're confident.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday.

Awkward:

• Not being able to stop yawning while Jason was taking my pictures.
• Feeling instantly fat after eating McDonalds, I don't remember it doing that before!
• Having my triceps {or lack thereof} almost freeze during a soccer game last night.
• Stepping off of the curb in the parking and lot, loosing my balance and falling down in front of a bunch of people
• Staring people down because I'm sure that I know them, I'm just not sure how {and then being caught...}

Awesome

• Sunday dinner with our new friends {and finding out that they not only like soccer but the UFC, we're going to watch a fight next month, and I'm pretty stoked}
• Jason telling me that if I go to Zumba I can have Taco Bell for dinner {bribery is alive and well}
• Jason getting an excellent grade on his midterm 
• My mom is making a package for me, and it should be here this week!
• My sister is letting me borrow all of her scarves, while she is in Hawaii, I don't own a single one, so I can't wait for free scarves! {thanks Han!}
• Getting to play soccer last night.
• It's Thursday, which means tomorrow is Friday, which means the weekend is basically here.

It'a awkward and awesome Thursday again {Thanks Sydney!}. I have one awesome thing that I'm really excited about so, awesome is going to come before awkward today!

Awesome

• I drove Jason's car {a manual} without stalling, crying, or freaking out!!! And it was up the huge hill to the temple so I was pretty proud of myself :)
• Jason got an A on his econ test {I'm going to make him a tasty treat!}
• Going to the temple {what I believe}
• My idea for a bachelorette party {I don't think I'm supposed to plan it, but oh well}
• It's warm outside, like a whopping 44 degrees!!!!!!!
• I just saw Sydney from The Daybook on campus!

Awkward

• I was too nervous to say anything to Sydney, because I didn't look cute at all today {I seriously need to do laundry}
• Jason and I were at Walmart and all of a sudden there was this smell. I turn to ask Jason if it was him, and he points to an old lady leaving the isle. yikes!
• I was tanning and in the middle of it, I hear someone trying to unlock the door. Ummm what are you supposed to do if you're in a tanning bed and think someone's going to break in?
• Trying to have a serious talk and people keep walking by, even after we move...
• Being stalked from afar

It's awkward and awesome Thursday again thanks to Sydney at The Daybook. She added an awful to today's posts so I think I might add one awful thing {I like to fit in...}.

Awkward

• The above pictures, and the fact that it is near impossible to take a picture where two people are in the air at the same time. {Ashley and I have been taking awkward pictures since 2005, which is also kinda awesome}
• Fallin asleep on Jason's couch and having his roommates come in yelling to find me asleep, and then whispering, and I'm conscious.
• Being lazy and walking into my kitchen while still buttoning my pants, and my roommate is eating breakfast, then I awkwardly explain that I'm lazy and I'm sorry she has to live with my awkwardness. 
• Being able to hear people using the bathroom, while I'm sitting in Jason's living room...

Awesome

• The drive home from Oregon {and the amazing weather that we had...sunshine!}
• Jason's sister has made our wedding invitations absolutely awesome, I'm so excited for them.
• Did I mention I found my wedding dress? Booya!!
• Also, the bridesmaid's outfits are taken care of {that was my biggest stress}
• I got a bridal shower gift for my friend today, it's pure awesome {her hubby to be is going to be stoked! and...I'm kinda jealous}

Awful

• I thought it would be awesome to watch two episodes of Bones last night...until 2:30 am. I woke up with a headache, and it's been here allllllllll day. It's awful, but I definitely learned my lesson {Jason hasn't even given me a hard time because he knows I won't do it again}

Awkward

• Moon and I posing for the camera {as you can see}
• There was an incident, in the kitchen, it involved a kiss...that's all you need to know.
• Trying to get into the car, slipping on the ice, and hurting my arm as Jason looks over worried, and then tells his brother about my incident.
• Walking into my apartment's lounge and seeing a couple all entangled in each other

Awesome

• How sparkly my ring is in the BYU-I Center {also known as the Buick} 
• The chat I had with my roommates this morning it involved; getting into fights during sporting events, soccer, and how to tie a belt cool, and different ways to wear scarfs. 
• I drove around town and only stalled out once..ish {it was twice but they were basically one because it was all at one stop sign}
• Looking cute {it's happened a lot this week}
• Getting a job interview...FINALLY! {it's at a call center, but it's better than nothing}
• Jason and I went on our first couple date, and have another one planned for Saturday
• Doing service :)
• Chocolate Chip cookies {they're always awesome}

Awkward

• Jason had to wait all morning for a kiss after taking a test, and was extremely disappointed because I tasted sour {I had just eaten raspberry yogurt}
• Kind of chocking after working out, and having to spit off the 3rd floor balcony of my apartment building
• Seeing people run on the new indoor track barefoot 
• Putting my computer away late at night, to find that doing so woke up my roommate
• Stalling out while driving at the busiest intersection in Rexburg {still a manual newbie}

Awesome

• Getting the lounge to ourselves to study...and not study
• Taking a nap on the couch, while Jason keeps me warm
• Sleeping in till 10 am and no one gets on my case
• The casserole I made for dinner last night {I was domestic, and we had it again for lunch}
• Having an amazing fiancee who will take pictures for me, download Adobe CS5, and let me borrow his computer so I can play with Adobe CS5
• Jason breaking icicles off the roof and giving them to me {I think they look super cool}
• That people are even reading my blog :)
