Hot Pink

Shirt: F21, Vest: Marshalls, Pants: JC Penny, Shoes: 1318

These are my new infamous hot pink flats. I love them. I also like to call them my "I'm never getting hit in a crosswalk" shoes. They are so bright it's crazy fun to wear them. Whenever I think my outfit is going to be boring I just ad these shoes and all of a sudden it's fun to wear.

I'm excited for next week because it's a week-long Open to Interpretaion link-up with KaylaErica and Grace. I love OTI. It really helps me use what I have to create looks that I wish I could pull off. Check out their blogs and join in if you feel so inclined.

But, it's Friday, which means I have an eye appointment, grocery shopping and some Chick-fil-a eating to do. I'll see ya'll on Monday!

Chicki Chicki Parm Parm

White t-shirt: Hanes, Pink tank: Maurices, Vest: made by mom, Jeans:AE,
Flats: Famous Footwear, Scarf: my sister's

I seriously can't decide if it is winter or spring these days. Monday I walked around without a coat {it was a whopping 32 out} Tuesday it snowed, Wednesday it was sunny but cold. However, I did see melting ice and heard birds chirping in the trees. Maybe spring is on it's way.

On a different note, Taco Bell + Parks and Recreation = amazing night. I had planned to make Chicken Parmesan {aka chicki chicki parm parm} but Jason and I had a Taco Bell craving, so we went with that instead.

p.s. Happy birthday to my baby sister who turns 19 today! {this is getting weird!}

This is sisterhood at its best.

Mustard

Shirt: JC Penny, Scarf: borrowed, Pants: AE, Flats: Famous Footwear, Turtle Ring: gift, Braclets: gifts

I have discovered a love for mustard.
Not to condiment, but the color.
It's the happy color that still works for fall.

My best friend, Ashley, knows me very well.
She is the one who got me the turtle necklace,
and this amazing turtle ring.
I love it.

Turtles + Mustard = A Great Day

It's mail time!

Scarf: borrowed from my sister, Shirt: F21, Belt: JC Penny, Pants AE, Shoes: Famous Footwear

For the past two weeks Jason and I have been checking the mail constantly.
I have been waiting for two packages.
One from American Eagle, where I bought an awesome pair of pants.
The second was from my mom.
She put together a package with like 10 scarves, a skirt, and cute slip,
and Jason's birthday card, treats, a necklace from my grandma, and my ballot to vote.
Last Friday my pants came and I was ecstatic!
Then yesterday the package from my mom came.
I was so excited, I changed my outfit so that I could wear one of the scarves she sent.
Jason was waiting on some new shoes.
We waited all day yesterday for them, they finally came around five.
Getting mail is the best!

Goodbyes

Shirt: F21, Tank: Maurices, Pants: Lucky, Shoes: Keds

I was so sure that this would be a really great outfit.
It was comfy, and fun.
Then I stepped outside and my ankles almost froze.
Rexburg has hit the chilly season,
and it's here to stay.
for a good 9 months.

Goodbye warmer weather, we'll miss you.

Not so high fashion

Cardigan: Maurices, Shirt: American Eagle, Pants: AEO, Shoes: famous footwear
Bracelet: necklace wrapped around a few times, Earrings: Fred Meyer (?)

I have a confession.
I may not be a high fashion girl.
I may only be a comfy fashion girl.
I hope that's ok.

On another note, I tried quite hard to make my hair actually cute today.
I even spent time with the curling iron this morning,
unfortunately it fell out within an hour.
I'm going to try harder from now on to make my hair all cute
{I just need my curling iron to cooperate}
In high school I had fantastic hair
{I don't mean to sound conceded}
I want that back.

Leaves of change

Headband: Claire's, T-Shirt: Target, Cardigan: F21, Belt: JC Penny,
Jeans: AEO, Flats: Famous Footwear

Earrings: Hawaii {gift from an old boss}, Necklace: Kay's Jewelers {Valentine's Day gift from Jason}

I love fall.
Here are my reasons why.

1. The colors are so beautiful. The leaves changing and being red, yellow, green, and brown, is nature's best color combination.

2. The clothes we get to wear. Scarves, boots, warm socks, hobo {fingerless} gloves, light jackets, and did I mention boots?

3. Crisp mornings wake you up as you walk to class {or make you yearn for you bed, but it's still good.}

4. Blankets. Lots of snuggling up in blankets and socks and all things cozy. Speaking of cozy and blankets, snuggling fit in the mix quite perfectly.

5. Good eats! Fall is all about warm comforting foods like pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, homemade soup {and rolls}, and everything else that fills a home with delicious smells.

Pinterest steals

Cardigan: Target, Shirt: F21, Pants: American Eagle Shoes: Keds

There is nothing in the fashion world that I love more than jeans and a tee.
I know, I'm trying to be all professional and classy,
but jeans and a tee make me a happy kid.

I found this outfit on Pinterest, and knew that I could re-create it.
I love stripes, and cardigans, so this was so up my ally.

Jason and I were both experiencing the Monday blues,
so we ventured out in our little town, and found a new place to take pictures.
I felt like I could get in trouble at any moment, so we just snapped a few and left.
It was fun though, and got us out of the house.

What do you love from Pinterest?
{come find me, I love sharing ideas!}
